How To Read Your Spouses Body Language

The ability to read your spouses body language will pay dividends for you. Today I am just going to write about one small part of reading your spouses body language. There are many body language signs you can look for but for now we are going to talk about one finger.

Kevin Hogan is a body language expert you may have heard of. I like to read a lot of his material. He likes to teach by weaving stories into his articles. In this article I am going to use the story he tells about when he got his big chance to make a name for himself. A major New York newspaper wanted Kevin to give an analysis of the body language of then President Bill Clinton during his "I did not have sex with that woman speech."

As Kevin tells he it he was scared to death but this was his chance if he could correctly read the body language signs. The speech was very short and did not give him much to go on. Clinton appeared to be telling the truth and was being very firm as he pointed at the camera. But something just did not feel right to Kevin. He watched the tape over and over until it hit him like a rock.

President Clinton was pointing with his right hand not his left hand. Most people know he is left-handed. In the words of Kevin "Wait a second! You can't fervently deny something with your opposite hand."

Try it and see for yourself. Its weird. The next time you confront your spouse about something or you two are discussing something watch the hands.

Does your spouse speak with one of their hands up when they are excited or trying to make a point to you. More importantly does he have the wrong hand raised or wrong pointer finger pointing at you. If he does according to the body language experts he is probably lying to you.

Usually someone will do something like this when they are excited or nervous. Use reading body language signs to determine when your spouse is lying to you.
