Marital Affairs - Why Can't You Take Action ?

You feel like your spouse has had marital affairs behind your back. You want to take action but something is holding you back. Its tearing you up on the inside but you seem to be frozen in place and don't know what to do. You know you can't just let the affairs go on like this.

Actually this a common problem when your spouse is having an affair or has even had multiple marital affairs. You take no action and hope the affair will just go away. Unfortunately this does not happen very often.

So whats the problem? What is keeping you from moving forward and finding out the truth?

There are two main emotions you have that keep you from taking the needed action to stop the marital affairs.

The first emotion that prevents you from doing anything is fear. Fear can be the most paralyzing emotion you have. You may have the gut feeling that your spouse is having an affair and you have seen signs that an affair is going on but you are frozen.

You are scared of how your life will change if you are right. What if you are wrong? Will your spouse forgive you for not trusting?

What should you fear more? Finding out the truth and doing something about it or just letting the affairs continue while you and your children suffer? If you have good reason to think your spouse is involved in extra marital affair the answer should become clear to you.

The second emotion that may prevent you from taking action is doubt. If you are reading this there is not much doubt that something is going wrong in your relationship.

So the only doubt that could be holding you back from taking action would be the doubts you have about how your life will change after you prove your spouse is guilty of having extra marital affairs.

Instead try focusing on the new life you can have without all the pain your spouse is putting you through. Sure it will be tough on you for awhile but there is one thing we know for sure. Things will get better. You can have your self respect back.

So far you have been doing nothing while your spouse has been using you. Extra marital affairs if allowed to continue will only make matters worse for you.

Look at the fears and doubts that may be holding you back from taking action and I think you will see they are not worth it.
