What drives females to become cheating women? Are there differences in the reasons a man cheats and the reasons a wife cheats? Yes there are major differences.

Most cheating women cheat because of emotional reasons where with most men its a sexual thing. Many more wives cheat on their husbands than in the recent past. 20 years ago the number of men cheating on their wives greatly exceeded the women cheating on their husbands. In recent years the statistics have seen an increase in the number of wives cheating.

A desire for attention is a big reason. A lot of women feel they do not get the attention they need. This may be because the man is the only bread winner in the family and spends a big portion of his day at work. So he may not give much time to his wife. He may also be self-employed and feel that he needs to be working to bring in money for the family.

Beware if you are a workaholic. It may seem to your wife that you just ignore her. She may feel that you do not listen to hear. This can drive her to find someone that she can talk to. Before you know it they can become more than friends and she all of sudden go from looking for a friend to becoming a cheating wife.

Loneliness and boredom are 2 other reasons you may have an unfaithful wife. She may not mean to at first but there is only so much shopping and talking to friends she can do.

One that both men and cheating women fall to is the I need to validate my womanhood or manhood. Not as many women fall prey to this but it is still one where some women feel the need to prove themselves. Another one that applies to both is the thrill of the chase. In the modern world some wives feel the need to prove themselves not only in business.

A desire to feel special and have an emotional connection is big for most women. If after so many years of going without this attachment they may venture out and seek a lover elsewhere.
