He will probably start blaming you at some point and try to make you feel sorry for him. He may say alcohol was the reason he did it.

You think he was lying to you before! When cheaters are caught and cornered the stories they make up are mind boggling. The bad thing is a lot of spouses will fall for the stories or want to believe them so badly that they take the cheater back. Happens all the time.
